This quote includes all labor, materials and tax for the repair/replacement of
the 90 degree fitting or fittings on the buried plumbing line or lines that are in
front of an equipment pad (buried in dirt/rocks/light landscaping, not buried
under a pool deck). Upon acceptance of this quote the homeowner also
understands that the area around the lines have to be completely dug up, if
there is landscaping/bushes/plants/etc. in the area around the equipment pad,
they should be removed before this work is completed as our technicians are
not gardeners or landscapers and we cannot guarantee the plants will be able
to be removed safely/ rocks put back exactly as they existed before the repair.
The dig area varies but can be as wide as a 5' radius and ~3' deep, dependent
upon if one 90 is going to be repaired/replaced or if more are. We highly
recommend doing all of them at once, when one breaks it indicates that the
area around the equipment pad is very prone to ground movement from frost
heaving and ice lensing, the other lines are likely to break as well in
subsequent years and it is much easier to dig one big hole and repair all at
once than dig one smaller hole every time each of the lines breaks from frost
heaving & ice lensing annually. If we are doing all steps of this repair, we will
get the pool working on the lines that are not currently damaged and the full
repair will have to be scheduled after the first week in July, as the digging &
refilling process is too labor hour intensive to complete earlier in the season
when we are scheduled wall to wall with other planned work.
