For spas that have not had a flush, drain, clean, and refill service in over a
year -- or for spas with very heavy use or poor maintenance -- the buildup of
biofilm, debris, and other foreign materials inside the plumbing and surfaces
can be excessive. In these cases, it may not be possible to fully clean the spa
with a single flush. Black specks, residue, or other contaminants may continue
to emerge from jets and plumbing even after cleaning. If additional flushes are
required to achieve acceptable cleanliness, an additional 50% labor charge will
be assessed per extra flush.
