This quote includes labor & materials to repair the cracks in the body of both
inground pool skimmers through the method of installing an epoxied sleeve
inside the skimmers. The repaired skimmer will still be connected to the
existing supply plumbing, if re-plumbing of the skimmer supply line all of the
way to the equipment is required/requested, that work must be on a separate
quote. If customer would prefer a quote for the complete replacement of the
skimmer please let us know and a quote can be provided. Upon acceptance of
this quote the homeowner also understands that the cracks that exist in the
skimmer body are from either ground movement and/or ice lensing that
occurred around the exterior of the skimmer. Ground movement and ice
lensing are generally caused by poor drainage and/or poor backfill around the
pool and around the house. If the ground movement/lensing/drainage issues
are not rectified by a landscaping company, the skimmer body may get
crushed again, even with the extra structure we install when doing the repairs.
