Note Some Automatic Pool Covers have a Deep End Wall Cap that fills the
gap between the auto cover box & the pool wall that the automatic pool cover
fabric rolls over the top of that corrodes heavily over time & may need
replacement, if your fabric seems to catch on something underneath it when
rolling out onto the pool it may be the Deep End Wall Cap. Unfortunately we
cannot inspect the wall cap fully in most situations because the fabric sits over
it. If we find it needs replacement when we are able to remove the fabric (when
we are installing the new fabric) we will write a quote for the replacement of
the wall cap. Replacement of the wall cap usually requires replacement of the
liner as well (if the liner is more than 2 years old). The roll-up tube that the
cover rolls up on inside the box can sometimes need replacement as well, it
also cannot be fully inspected until the fabric is removed from the pool to install
the new fabric. If it needs replacement we will provide a quote for replacement.
We also frequently find that pool builders install heavy stone auto cover lids
but neglect to install heavy duty auto cover lid brackets. If your cover has
heavy lid stones that never seem to match up and won't sit level with the pool
deck we may be able to upgrade your lid brackets to heavy-duty brackets to fix
this issue. Please let us know if you would like a quote for heavy duty lid
