Labor - Taxable Maintenance Labor - Turn pump off and then turn breaker off
for pump. Remove skimmer baskets & return eyeballs; winterize equipment &
plumbing lines; double plug pool returns, install blowout extension in skimmers
and skimmer faceplate plug. Store all equipment plugs, main drain valve
handle, return eyeballs, etc. in the pump basket & the blue bag. Note any
additional work that wasn't on the service order that needs to be billed to the
customer. If the closing parts are not accessible when we arrive a follow-up
will be scheduled and follow-up fee will be added for the following week to
complete the closing; or we will sell the customer the parts needed to close the
pool and add them to the invoice. If the main drain valve does not seal, techs
will attempt to get it to seal a few times and will attempt to repair the valve if it
is a repairable valve. If there is any possibility that the valve will release air the
valve will be cut out by the technician and the line will be plugged after blowing
the water out. If the technician is forced to cut out the valve at your closing, we
will reach out to schedule a replacement in the spring before the pool opening.
